Our waterjet is an awesome machine, however, it cuts slowly so it becomes a more expensive process. To solve this problem we mounted a 105 amp plasma cutter onto the waterjet machine. Using the waterjet gantry we were able to mount a plasma machine torch to the cutting head via a bracket & a magnet on the plasma machine torch. This allows us to cut fine cuts like pin & bolt holes with waterjet and cut the exterior entities (the outside of parts) with plasma to save money on waterjet cuts. Another feature is that we can stack cut 2 sheets at a time with Plasma. This really diversified us in a lot of CNC cutting areas.
